Drapo Empire Hayti

$19.00

The Empire of Hayti, established by Jean-Jacques Dessalines in 1804, had a distinctive flag during its short-lived existence from 1804 to 1806. This flag was a symbol of Haiti's independence and sovereignty following the successful Haitian Revolution against French colonial rule.

The flag of the Empire of Hayti consisted of a simple design featuring two vertical bands of equal size. The first part was black, while the second part was red. A symbols representing the new nation's ideals and aspirations.

While the Empire of Hayti was short-lived, its flag played a significant role in symbolizing the triumph of the Haitian people over colonial oppression and in establishing Haiti as the first independent black republic in the world.
